What is Dead Sexy?

Dead Sexy is a BDSM/sex playparty for kinky women* into queer, woman-to-woman BDSM. Dress in whatever makes you feel good, bring your toys and your playpartners, and come join us! We encourage costumes and flights of fancy!

Just for fun, we'll have a few special theme areas, like puppy play, and ageplay.

What is Dead Sweaty?

Dead Sweaty is a sauna party for kinky women* into queer, woman-to-woman sex, play, and sweat. Leave your valuables and costumes at home, bring a big fluffy towel, some sandals (or anything waterproof: we don't care if you wear boots in the steam room!) Dress in whatever makes you feel good, bring your toys and your playpartners, and come join us!

Water, non-alcoholic beverages, and snacks are free (because who the heck wants to carry a wallet in the sauna?)

Who the heck are we?

Bride of Pride is the name of a women's event held on the Saturday of the Vancouver Gay Pride weekend, and is also the informal name for the informal group of leatherdykes who organize the parties. We've got an amazing amount of collective party-throwing experience! Contact us: BrideOfPride (at) VancouverLeather (dot) com

*Who's Invited:

Adult women (queer, str8, trans etc) who enjoy woman-to-woman kink and BDSM. Also invited: genderqueers & transguys who feel a connection with the women's kink community. Women of all experience levels are welcome!

Accessibility:

Dead Sexy, at the WISE hall, is fully wheelchair-accessible, through the floor-level rear entrance.

Dead Sweaty, at the Hastings Steam Bath, is NOT wheelchair-accessible, which we profoundly regret. We were entirely unable to find an accessible sauna space. For folks with partial mobility, the sauna party is down one flight of stairs, and everything else is on one level, including washrooms (which are not wheelchair-able washrooms).

We'll have some volunteer runner-people to help folks with physical disabilities carry bags to and from cars and help with any scene set-up. Please ask as you come in.
