Leather Events in Seattle, the Puget Sound Area, and throughout the
Pacific Northwest
October 4-11 (Wednesday through the following Wednesday)

This e-mail is aimed especially at the Seattle gay male leather
community, with entries for events listed from throughout the Pacific
Northwest (Anchorage to Eugene to Edmonton). No specific attempt is
made to include events aimed at non-gay, non-male, or non-leather
audiences, although some are included which are not "leather" or
which may not be strictly same-sex, due to the perceived breadth of
people who may receive this listing. Events produced by Seattle Men
in Leather are in bold.

(For out of town events, large meetings and events for leather clubs
are listed; only weekend-long events are generally included here.)

Slave Training Series, Part 3: Attitudes and Behavior
Wet Spot, 2:00-5:00 pm / $20 (Wet Spot membership not required)
	Info: http://www.wetspot.org/workshop.htm#slave
Displaying pride, respect, honor, and dignity in all that you do
means first understanding what that means. There is the concept of
recognizing and reading body language, a topic we will briefly
revisit taking it into a new context and showing how much it can
affect your attitude. Also, though you must protect yourself, just
because you are a slave does not mean you cannot be assertive. So
the question arises, how do you do that without being offensive?
Your eye placement shows so much as well about how feelings, your
attitude and even where your mindspace is at that moment. A big area
we plan to spend some time is patience… a difficult thing for many.
This can also include when it is time to be quiet vs. a time to be
funny and joke around.
Please maintain privacy with these workshops: what is said there,
stays there. We also do not allow cameras or recording devices of
any kind, so please make sure to turn off your cell phone upon
entering so as not to allow its disturbance of your enjoyment during
the class.
